Divine Girls School offers hostel facilities that are design to provide a home atmosphere to the children. the facilities are available from class I onwards.

The hostellers avail some of the finest facilities for sports at the well equipped Sports Complex where they can play games of their choice under the supervision of expert coaches. Cultural events like Fresher’s Night and the Hostel Farewell are organized with great enthusiasm, which ensures the finest bonding amongst the students. Students also enjoy some memorable moments when the Chairman, Director and other honorable members of the School Management join them for dinner and all other major school events.

Life at the hostel provides numerous social, philanthropic and leadership possibilities. Hostel residents enhance their leadership and organizational skills, by assuming governing roles such as Head Girl and In-charge of Food, Cleanliness, Cultural and Discipline Committees. These In-charges, along with Food Monitors, actively contribute towards making community living a joyful learning experience.

Parents sending their children to a boarding school will have many queries and anxieties. The School ensures that a child on becoming a part of our hostel is provided all the facilities she would have had at home. It can’t be denied that, improper boarding facilities will affect the child’s concentration and involvement in his or her daily activities in school. Keeping this in mind, the school endeavours to provide boarding facilities of optimum standard and quality. Every student is provided with a comfortable bed, and a locker to keep safe her personal belongings. Support staff is also in place to take care of the child’s hygiene and sanitation, and to maintain the cleanliness of the residence. Residences are provided with uninterrupted power and water supply. The diet of a growing child should have all the nutrients that helps him to enjoy a sound physical as well as mental growth.

Hence, our qualified dietician plans the menu in such a manner that every meal has all the required nutrients for a growing child. The School mess has a well-equipped, modern kitchen and efficient chefs to cook and serve food, of good taste and high nutritive value.

The mess-in-charge is responsible for the proper quality and hygiene of the food being served. she also plans the menu & recipe in a manner that the child does not miss home cooked food. Keeping this in view, a large variety of dishes are served consistently.

To inculcate a sense of responsibility among the students, suggestions regarding the planning of the menu are invited from them, on a regular basis.

Activities & Program


The objective of remedial teaching is to give an additional help to the students particularly who are slow learner and fallen behind the rest of the class. Remedial teaching period is the time during which the identified It is due to their limited cognitive capacity, poor memory, distraction and lack of concentration, inability to express ideas and also lack of motivation.



For this purpose the students must be motivated by the Principal teachers to leave in groups and in case of any kind of action of misconduct is felt, it should be brought to the notice of principal, administrator and management. The students be trained to make them courageous and bold to express their views without any fear.

Society of Divine International School has been emphasizing the need for achieving excellences of students in various games, sports & physical activities in the school. Although the participation of girls in sports and physical activities and competitions at various levels have been observed encouraging in the School. Generally, the girls should be encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities, sports, games and physical activities, Scout & Guide, NCC and other adventure programs.

In the wake of present scenario, it has been felt that learning of self-defence skills is essential to empower individual girls which can help them to live with dignity and confidence and to defend themselves against the violence against them.

In order to create awareness about the safety of the girls, special focus is required to be given in the sports & physical activities to teach basic self-defence techniques to train them and to tackle real life situations and protect themselves from anti-social elements.



Yoga and Physical Education are also essential for the students for their physical development and fitness to keep them active and fresh. The PET should always keep the schedule in mind that physical activities with the academics are required to be conducted as per the morning and evening schedule.

Physical Education activities are the basis of all progressive methods in education. Through well planned activity oriented programmes one should try to organize different physical activities like drill, marching, sports etc. directed towards physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual and moral development of the child.

The Warden (MOD) is to be present for morning PT. PETs and students are to be in appropriate dress for PT and games. Proper time table and Sports Calendar is to be prepared and implemented in letter and spirit to engage all students both in morning & evening PT effectively based on their interest and aptitude. Training must be such that every student will have some perfection in at least in one or two areas.





Games: – Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Basket Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Football / Hockey, Throw Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis etc.,



In order to develop the quality of leadership and to make students acquainted with the present political system of this country, the Principal along with senior teachers should ensure to inspire the students to prepare themselves to take part in school youth parliament. The teachers should take responsibility to prepare students for such programme. The Principal should ensure to conduct such activities at least twice in the session.

Youth parliament has a special importance in developing an insight in the young students. Thus, the purpose of having Youth Parliament is:

    • To make students understand the parliamentary procedure.
    • To develop in students an insight into the working of parliament.
    • To make students consider public issues and form their opinion on them.
    • To train students in the technique of group discussion and to arrive at a decision after group discussion.
    • To develop in them respect and tolerance for the views of others, respect for rules, and to train them in group behaviour.
    • To make students aware of various problems being faced by our society and the country.
    • To develop in students the qualities of leadership.
    • To make students understand the common man’s point of view and express it in an articulated manner.
